Creating a Custom Alias
- Create a new link or edit an existing one
- In the Alias field, enter your custom text
- The system will check if the alias is available
- Save your link
Alias Rules
Custom aliases must follow these rules:
Letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and hyphens (-)
3-50 characters in length
Case-insensitive (MyLink = mylink)
No spaces or special characters
Cannot start or end with a hyphen
Reserved words (api, admin, dashboard) not allowed

Changing an Alias
You can change a link's alias at any time from the link details page. Keep in mind:
- The old alias will immediately become available for others
- Existing shares of the old link will stop working
- Analytics are preserved with the new alias
